I've never had a 5 year diary before. There is something very intriguing about it and I certainly hope to come out of this 5 year diary ready to gladly and excitedly go into another 5 year diary! As for the Sterling Ink 5 year diary - I am thrilled with it, the quality is soooo gooooood and I just love to touch and interact with the book itself. It is a tactile pleasure. I have started incorporating a few "planner" techniques into the 5 year diary, like adding special "January stickers" or "tipping in" a page to designate where the "extra" pages begin.

Love the design: minimal, yet flexible. Can be used either as daily diary or a 5 year diary - depending on your needs. The new cover colours offered by SI are gorgeous - my favourites are in mist and caramel colours. Paper is thin, yet there is no bleeding with both MUJI and fountain pens (just ghosting). Lightweight. Definitely recommend as replacement to hobonichi. My personal preference to all other types of planners.

I have kept a 5 year diary for the past 5 years so this diary came right in the knick of time! I needed a new one and this one fit the bill. I have way more room to write than in my last diary. My only problem with this one is the ghosting after writing. I haven’t found a pen yet which does not do this. I love the paper, but ghosting is a problem.
